German Cabbage Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage
1 medium onion
1 to 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
butter or margarine
2 c. shredded cheese (Mozzarella, Cheddar, etc. or a mixture of several)
1 1/2 c. ham, smoked sausage or kielbasi, cut in pieces
caraway seed (optional)
Preparation

Cut
cabbage
into
wedges, then pieces and steam until just cooked.
Brown onion in the butter (or margarine) and add bread crumbs; mix well.
