Angel Flake Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
    5 c. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine yeast and water; set aside.
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and roll out on floured surface; cut as biscuits. Allow to rise in a warm dark place.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until golden. May be kept in refrigerator for up to a week.
