Oven Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 gal. drop apple, do not peel
3 qt. (12 c.) sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon or spices to your taste
Preparation

Put cut apples and sugar in a blue granite canner and put in a 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 oven overnight or for 6 to 8 hours.
When done, run through colander and add cinnamon or spices to suit taste.
Makes 10 to 12 pints.
Put in pint jars and pressure to 5 pounds.
Cool and store.
It's so simple to make and uses up lots of drop apples.
