Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
3 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Preparation

Combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa in medium saucepan.
Stir over medium-high heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil; boil 1 1/2 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
Quickly stir in oatmeal and nuts. Stir well and quickly spoon out onto waxed paper.
Let cool.
