Good Old "Tater" Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 large \"taters\", cut into small pieces
    1 large onion
    1/2 to 1 c. celery, chopped
    3 qt. water
    salt and pepper
    bacon (3 or 4 slices)
    1/2 can evaporated milk
    1/4 stick margarine
Preparation
    Cook potatoes, onion, celery, salt and pepper in 3 quarts water until done.
    Cook bacon crisp; drain well.
    Break into small pieces; set aside.
    Add bacon, milk and margarine to soup.
    Serve with hot bread.
