Roast Beef With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients

beef roast
1 to 2 pkg. onion soup mix
onions
salt
pepper

Preparation

Generously salt and pepper roast.
Cover roast with onion soup mix.
Place sliced onions over onion soup mix, securing with toothpicks.
Place roast in roasting pan with 1/2-inch of water in bottom of pan.
Place roast in preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 for remainder of cooking time.
