Cattleman'S Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 (2 1/2 oz.) pkg. dried beef, chopped
    4 tsp. diced onion
    crackers and breadsticks
Preparation
    In a skillet, saute pecans in margarine until golden.
    (Set aside.)
    In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
    Add sour cream and garlic powder.
    Mix well.
    Stir in beef and onion. Spread into a greased 8-inch baking dish.
    Top with pecans.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until heated through.
    Serve with crackers and breadsticks.
    Yield:
    3 1/2 cups.
