Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Vidalia onions, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sour cream
    dash of pepper
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute
    onions
    in melted butter.
    Combine eggs and sour cream, then add to onion mixture.
    Add pepper.
    Pour into pie shell; sprinkle
    cheese
    on
    top.
    Bake
    in
    450\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes. Turn oven down to 325\u00b0 and bake 20 minutes more.
