Pork Chops And Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    2 c. onion, sliced thin
    2 c. water
    1 1/3 c. rice, precooked type
    1/8 tsp. marjoram
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Trim excess fat from pork chops.
    Fry out trimmings in large skillet over medium heat to make 1 tablespoon of melted fat; add chops and brown on each side for about 5 minutes.
    Remove chops, put onion in skillet, cook, stirring frequently, about 5 minutes or until browned.
    Add water, rice, marjoram, salt and pepper; mix well.
    Place chops on top.
    Cover, bring to boil, then cook over low heat 18 to 20 minutes or until tender.
