Crumb Cake(Approximately 100 Year Old Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix brown sugar, butter and flour like pie dough.
Take out 1 cup crumbs for top.
Put soda in milk; add egg, milk and salt to remaining ingredients.
Pour batter into a greased cake pan and sprinkle the crumbs on top.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
