Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Ore-Ida frozen hash browns, defrosted
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    corn flakes, crushed (for topping)
Preparation
    Break up defrosted hash brown patties.
    (You can also use \"Simply Potatoes\" shredded hash browns found in dairy case.) Combine with all ingredients, except corn flakes.
    Mix thoroughly. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Top with crushed corn flakes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
