Cathy'S Microwave Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cucumber, sliced 1/4-inch thick round (2 c.)
    1 medium onion, sliced (3/4 c.)
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. distilled vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/4 tsp. each celery seed and turmeric
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in 2-quart microwave bowl.
    Microwave on High 7 to 8 minutes, stirring twice.
    Ladle into hot jar.
