Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 (12 oz.) box crushed vanilla wafers
    1 (7 oz.) can flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter until fluffy; beat in eggs, 1 at a time.
    Add milk and vanilla wafers alternately.
    Fold in coconut and pecans.
    Spread batter in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake for 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
    This cake freezes well.
