Never Fail Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    3 tsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Boil sugar, Karo and water until it spins a thread.
    Add peanuts, stirring continuously, until it turns light golden color. Remove from heat.
    Add butter, salt and soda and stir vigorously. Pour into buttered pan.
    When cool, break into pieces.
