Tapioca Cream Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. whole tapioca
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, bring 1 quart of water to a boil and add tapioca to boiling water; simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
    Drain water.
    In double boiler, put milk, salt and drained tapioca.
    Cook until tapioca is transparent (about 1 hour).
    Stir occasionally.
    Beat sugar into egg yolks and slowly stir into tapioca.
    Mix stiffly beaten eggs and add vanilla.
    Serves 4.
