Strawberry Jello Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus white cake mix
    eggs
    oil
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (21 oz.) cans strawberry pie filling
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    fresh strawberries (optional)
Preparation
    Bake white cake according to package directions in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    While cake is baking, add water to Jell-O, stirring to dissolve Jell-O.
    Pierce entire top of hot cake with small holes, piercing through to bottom of cake (a large meat fork works well). Slowly drizzle Jell-O into holes, covering entire cake. Refrigerate until cold.
    Spread pie filling over top of cake. Spread Cool Whip over pie filling.
    Garnish with fresh berries, if desired.
    Store in refrigerator.
