Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
12 oz. chocolate chips (2 c.)
1 c. chopped nuts
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream softened butter with sugar, egg and vanilla.
Mix in medium bowl the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger. Add to butter mixture.
Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Scoop large ball with spoon and roll dough in confectioners sugar.
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes approximately 24 cookies.
