Poppy Seed Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 split chicken breasts, cooked and diced (approximately 4 c.)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 c. sour cream or 1/4 c. margarine
pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. basil
2 stalks celery, chopped fine
1 small can mushrooms, drained
1 stick Ritz crackers
2 Tbsp. poppy seed
1 stick margarine, melted
Preparation

Mix together the chicken, soup, sour cream, pepper, basil, celery and mushrooms. Pour into a greased casserole dish.
Crush the Ritz crackers.
Do not substitute any other crackers. Sprinkle over chicken mixture.
Sprinkle the poppy seed over crackers and drizzle the melted margarine over crackers.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Can be refrigerated overnight or frozen for up to 1 week before baking.
