Chicken Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fat hen
    5 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. sweet milk
    3 Tbsp. flour
    cornbread dressing (is best)
Preparation
    Cook chicken the day before.
    Take meat from bones.
    Use stock for dressing.
    Heat milk to lukewarm.
    Stir in beaten eggs.
    Add flour that has been mixed with a little of the broth.
    Stir constantly until the spoon is coated.
    Dice the chicken.
    Make dressing to suit your taste.
    Place a layer of dressing, then a layer of chicken.
    Pour custard over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    This can be made the day before.
    Bake when ready to use.
    Very rich, but verrry gooood.
