Buttermilk Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecans
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

In large roaster pan, cook sugar, buttermilk and soda to soft ball degree, stirring constantly while cooking. Remove from heat when soft ball stage is reached. Add vanilla, butter and pecans. Beat until mixture begins to thicken. Drop by tablespoon on wax paper. Allow for pralines to spread out.
