Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. shortening
3 eggs
2/3 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix all ingredients in large mixer bowl and blend well.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done.
