Squash Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. squash
1 medium onion, diced
1 can mushroom soup
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. butter
cheese
1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
Preparation

Stew squash and onions until tender enough to mash. Add salt and pepper. In 1 1/2-quart casserole, alternate layers of squash, cracker crumbs and soup. Bake at 400\u00b0 until top browns. Sprinkle cheese on top.
