Versie'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 drops red food coloring
    3 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin
    4 c. fresh strawberries
    1 pie shell, baked
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, sugar, water and food coloring.
    Cook until clear and thick.
    Stir constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add gelatin.
    Cool until almost begins to thicken.
    Put fresh strawberries in baked pie shell.
    Pour glaze over berries when mixture is cooled.
    Top with whipped cream and garnish with fresh strawberries.
    Serves 6 to 8.
