Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or 2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour, sifted
    6 eggs
    1 pt. sweet cream
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and cream well.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Beat after each addition.
    Add sweet cream and flour alternately.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 in tube pan for about 1 3/4 hours. While cake is baking, prepare glaze.
