Creole Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
3 ribs celery, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced in rings
3 carrots, sliced across
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/4 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
1 can tomato soup
liquid from mushrooms
Preparation

Place half of beef in bottom of shallow, greased casserole. Cover with half of carrots, celery, onions and green pepper slices.
Sprinkle with half the seasonings.
Repeat the next layer, beginning with the ground beef; top with mushrooms.
Mix tomato soup and mushroom juice; pour over all.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Serves 4.
