Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Crisco
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream margarine and Crisco.
    Add sugar and egg.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt, then stir into mixture. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
    Roll into a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until lightly browned, but still soft.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen 2-inch cookies.
