Chicken-Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) fryer
    2/3 c. uncooked wild rice
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimientos, drained
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Steam chicken until cooked. Bone chicken and chop meat; set aside. Cook rice (instructions on box). Spoon cooked rice into lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish. Combine chicken and remaining ingredients except cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven and bake until cheese melts.
