Mom'S Sauerkraut Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can tomato juice
32 oz. drained sauerkraut
2 lb. ground meat (chicken, beef or pork)
2 finely chopped onions
1/2 smoked ham, thinly chopped
seasoning to taste
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 c. long grain rice, cooked
2 tsp. baby dill
Preparation

Spread evenly half of well drained sauerkraut in a casserole pan.
In a separate bowl, mix ground meat, onions, rice, smoked ham and seasoning.
Spread mixture on top of sauerkraut in the casserole pan, then on top spread the remaining sauerkraut.
Pour the tomato juice on top of sauerkraut evenly, then sprinkle dill and thyme.
Cook in oven at 350\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Serve with sour cream.
