Veal Steaks In Sour Cream - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped fine
pepper to taste
4 veal steaks
1/2 c. Gjetost, shredded
1/4 c. butter
salt to taste
1 c. commercial sour cream
Preparation

Using a large frying pan, saute the onion in about 1 1/2 tablespoons of the butter until golden.
Remove from pan and set aside.
Season veal steaks with salt and pepper.
Add the remaining butter to the frying pan and saute the veal over medium heat on both sides until tender and golden color.
Remove the meat and keep warm.
Reduce heat to low and add the onion to the pan; add sour cream and Gjetost.
Heat and stir until cheese melts. Return the meat to the pan and spoon the sauce over it; heat through.
