Pecan Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter or oleo
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Blend the oleo, salt, confectioners sugar and vanilla.
    Add the flour and pecans.
    Mix until all the flour is damp.
    Make into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Press.
    (You may add a cherry to the top if you want to.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
