Gelatin Banana Splits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water
    4 medium bananas
    lemon juice
    1/2 c. thawed Cool Whip
    3 or 4 cherries
    chopped nuts (as many as desired)
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add cold water and pour in bowl.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut bananas in half, brush them with lemon juice and arrange them in banana split dish.
    Put gelatin on bananas and top with Cool Whip, nuts and cherries.
