Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut fine
    1 c. minced onion
    4 Tbsp. bacon grease
    2 lb. zucchini, cut 1/4 inch thick
    1 lb. cheese
    6 tomatoes or 2 c. canned
    2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon; cook minced onion in grease.
    In 2-quart casserole alternate, repeating 3 times, layers of zucchini, cheese, tomatoes, onion and bacon mixture, crackers crumbs and seasoning. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    If necessary, brown under broiler just before serving.
