Quick Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. cabbage, chopped (optional)
    1 (No. 2) can mixed vegetables
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. potatoes, cut small and cooked
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    3 c. water
    2 c. tomato juice
    1 c. shell macaroni
    1 (16 oz.) lima beans (small green ones)
    1 (16 oz.) whole kernel corn
Preparation
    In a large soup pot, combine all ingredients, except macaroni. Cover and bring to a boil.
    Add macaroni.
    I cooked my macaroni before, then I add it to the soup which has been brought to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.
    Yields 5 to 8 servings. Delicious!
