Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 1/4 c. pecans, ground fine
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Add vanilla and eggs. Add oatmeal and nuts. Mix well. Line cookie sheet with foil. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon, 2 inches apart. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8-10 minutes. Let cookies cool somewhat before removing from foil, they will be very thin and lacy.
