Round Steak With Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut 1/2-inch thick, into 1/4-inch strips
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. oil or shortening
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 3/4 c. beef broth
    1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 large green peppers, cored and cut into strips
    noodles (optional)
Preparation
    Coat meat in flour mixed with salt and pepper.
    Heat oil in large skillet.
    Brown meat on all sides.
    Drain tomatoes, reserving both tomatoes and liquid.
    Add liquid, onion, garlic and broth to meat.
    Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour.
    Stir in Worcestershire sauce and pepper strips.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Serves 6.
