Ingredients

2 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch or 2 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
2 or 3 bananas, sliced
vanilla wafers
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat
egg yolks; add sugar and cornstarch or flour, and mix thoroughly.
Add
milk
and
cook in a double boiler until creamy, stirring
constantly.
Remove
from
the heat and add vanilla. Place
alternate layers of wafers and sliced bananas in
baking dish.
Pour custard over bananas and wafers.
Beat egg whites until
stiff and sweeten with 4 tablespoons sugar. Spread over pudding and brown in 350\u00b0 oven.
