Ingredients

1 qt. beets
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. water from canned beets
1/3 c. vinegar
pinch of salt
Preparation

Dice beets in small bowl and set aside.
In small saucepan, add sugar, flour, a little beet water and vinegar, one at a time until all is in.
Add salt.
Cook over low heat until thick.
Stir constantly.
Cool.
Pour over beets and mix.
