Cocoa Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat in a large sauce pan.
    Remove from heat, add sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir with a spoon until batter is well blended and smooth.
    Stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and nuts.
    Spread in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
    Cool in pan on a wire rack.
    Cut into 2-inch squares. Makes 24 brownies.
