Cracker Jack Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 9 qt. popcorn, popped
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put popcorn in large
    pan (dishpan).
    Mix sugar, margarine and syrup in saucepan.
    Cook 5 minutes and add soda and vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn and mix until well coated.
    Put into large roaster pan.
    Bake for 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
    Pour on waxed paper to cool. Break apart and store in airtight container.
    Yield:
    8 to 9 quarts.
