Strawberry Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 cups sugar
    1 1/2 tablespoons flour
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    6 eggs beaten
    5 cups milk
    1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    3 cups mashed strawberries
    2 cups whipping cream whipped
    3/4 cup sugar
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan stir well. Add eggs and milk stir until blended. Cook over med heat and stir in vanilla. Let cool 30 mins. Cover custard; chill 8 hrs. Add strawberries, whipping cream, and 3/4 cup sugar to chilled custard. Stir well. Pour mixture into freezer container of 5 qt. electric freezer.
