Garlic-Flavored Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. green beans, washed and stemmed
    1/4 c. unsalted butter
    3 large cloves garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. snipped parsley
Preparation
    In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook whole beans in salted boiling water for 5 minutes.
    Drain and rinse with cold water.
    In a 12-inch skillet cook beans and garlic in hot butter about 7 minutes or until crisp-tender, tossing constantly.
    Add parsley, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
