Orange Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. orange juice
3 Tbsp. grated orange peel
3 Tbsp. melted butter
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. finely cut dates
1 c. sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine the first three ingredients, stirring well.
Combine the next four (dry ingredients) in a large bowl.
Add the first three combined ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well, then add the last four ingredients and again mix well.
Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Bake about 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes 1 loaf.
