Pound Cake(Diabetic) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar (1/4 c. Equal = 1 c. sugar)
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Bring butter and eggs to room temperature.
    Grease the bottom and about 1 inch up the side of a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    In small mixer bowl, beat butter at medium speed of electric mixer until creamed and fluffy.
    Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed 6 minutes or until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla, eggs one at a time, beating about 1 minute each.
    Scrape bowl frequently. Mix flour, salt and nutmeg.
    Gradually add dry ingredients to egg mixture and beat until thoroughly blended.
    Turn batter into prepared pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 to 65 minutes.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
    Remove.
