Cinnamon Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. milk
    2/3 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0 (moderate).
    Grease and flour 2 square pans, 8 x 8 x 2-inches.
    Mix butter, sugar and eggs in mixing bowl. Beat 5 minutes, high speed on mixer or by hand until well mixed. Blend flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
    Add alternately in 3 additions with milk, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Beat on low speed just until smooth; fold in nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
    Frost with Browned Butter Icing.
