Strawberry-Filled Cake Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs, separated
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
sifted confectioners sugar
3 c. sliced fresh strawberries (about 1 1/2 pt.)
1 (9 oz.) container nondairy whipped topping
Preparation

Sift together cake flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Beat egg yolks in mixing bowl until thick and lemon colored, using electric mixer at high speed.
Gradually beat in 1/4 cup sugar. Blend in vanilla.
Beat egg whites in another bowl until frothy, using electric mixer at high speed.
Gradually beat in 1/2 cup sugar, beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.
