Cinnamon Pecan Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. margarine
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1 egg, separated
Preparation

Cream together margarine, sugar and cinnamon.
Add egg yolk, reserving white.
Add 2 cups flour and a pinch of salt.
Mix well. Dough will be quite stiff.
Knead on waxed paper a few times, adding very little flour.
Mash out dough on a greased or sprayed 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.
Spread out unbeaten egg white over dough.
Hold pan upside down over sink and allow extra egg white to drip off.
Mash pecans into batter.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cut into bars while warm.
