Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 to 2 1/2 lb. boneless beef round steak, cut into cubes
    dash of salt
    dash of black pepper
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of tomato soup (undiluted)
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme, divided
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 c. cooked egg noodles
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet, add steak cubes and brown all over.
    Add salt, pepper, tomato soup and half of the beef consomme.
    Stir to make a smooth sauce.
    Add onion and mushrooms. Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
