Candied Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 sweet potatoes
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    1 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. water
    3 to 4 pats margarine
    mace
Preparation
    Boil and slice potatoes.
    Layer in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Mix sugar, syrup, juice and water.
    Heat.
    Pour over potatoes and sprinkle lightly with mace.
    Bake for 45 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Baste as they cook.
    (Freezes well.)
