Pink Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 c. canned beet juice
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    1/2 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. ground allspice
    1 tsp. salt
    ground black pepper
Preparation
    Hard-boil eggs; plunge into cold water and shell immediately. Put eggs in a quart jar.
    Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil and pour over eggs.
    Cover and cool.
    Refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours.
