Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. applesauce
1 c. cooked raisins
3/4 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda in 1 Tbsp. boiling water

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and salt.
Add raisins and applesauce. Mix.
Add spices.
Add flour until thick.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
